HAIR TRANSPLANT

ALL-ON-4 DENTAL IMPLANT

All-On-4 dental implants offer a transformative solution for individuals seeking complete tooth replacement. Developed by Portuguese dentist Dr. Paulo Malo, this innovative technique offers a faster, more efficient and cost-effective alternative to traditional implant methods by enabling the restoration of a full row of teeth using just four strategically placed dental implants. In the technique, 2 implants are placed in the posterior region of the jaw at a 30 - 45 degree angle, while the other 2 implants are placed perpendicularly in the anterior region.

The All-On-4 technique is designed to address the challenges faced by patients with extensive tooth loss or severe dental problems, such as advanced decay, gum disease or trauma. Unlike traditional dental implants that require multiple implants to support a row of teeth, All-On-4 uses only four implants per arch, minimizing the need for bone grafting and reducing treatment time.

PROCESS:

1.Assessment and Planning: First, a dentist assesses the patient's oral health and dental condition. Using imaging techniques, the bone structure, the condition of the teeth and the most suitable areas to place the implants are determined.

2.Planning and Consultation: The patient's expectations and treatment are discussed in detail. The treatment plan includes details such as the positions where the implants will be placed, the design of temporary and permanent prostheses. It is important that the patient is informed and feels comfortable throughout the treatment process.

3.Surgical Phase: The main stage of treatment, surgery involves the placement of implants under the patient's gums. It is usually performed under local anesthesia and the surgical procedure is performed according to planned measurements to ensure that the implants are placed in the correct position. In the technique, 2 implants are placed in the posterior region of the jaw at a 30 - 45 degree angle, while the other 2 implants are placed perpendicularly in the anterior region.

4.Application of Temporary Prostheses: Immediately after the implants are placed, temporary prostheses are fitted. These prostheses provide a temporary solution to meet the patient's aesthetic and functional needs.

5.Healing Process: Following the surgical procedure, a healing process begins for the implants to fuse with the bone (osseointegration). This process can usually take several months and creates a solid bond with the bone around the implants.

6.Application of Permanent Prosthesis: After the healing process is complete, specially designed permanent dentures are made and applied in accordance with the patient's oral structure. These dentures look and function similar to the patient's natural teeth.

7.Care and Follow-up: Regular dental check-ups and good oral hygiene are important for the longevity of All-On-4 implants. The patient is instructed on the care and cleaning of the prostheses and regular follow-up appointments are scheduled.
